Poor customer service from the ‘Oh my loft’ manager, Jamie. Never dealt with someone so arrogant or lazy in my life - every problem we had was deliberately ignored until the receptionist Natalia was working.

Problems since arriving:

The flat we had booked for 6 months was double booked, we had to spend the 1st week in a hotel room. They told us the flat we had booked was ‘being painted’ which is the reason we couldn’t move in...

A week later we move in and the place clearly had not been painted whatsoever. There was chipped paint, markings and stains all over the walls and floors. The kitchen smelt awful which was apparently due to ‘bad plumbing’, something we had to put up with for the first fortnight.

Two weeks into our stay and the electric blinds broke due to an old motor in the mechanism, we waited another 2 weeks and had to sleep with the blinds up, which as you can imagine in Spain in the middle of the summer can make sleeping through the early morning a hard task

Fast forward a few months and we were asked to move flats from our flat on the 9th floor to one 3 doors down, due to them selling the place we had booked for 6 months!! we were given less than 24 hours notice to move and were constantly being pressured to hurry, which resulted in us not having the time to mop the floors as we normally would.

Two days later we receive a wildly exaggerated text from the ‘manager’ Jamie, claiming he had never seen anything so unacceptable in his life. The flat was NOT filthy or dirty, it simply had a dusty floor due to having to drag all of our clothes and furniture from one flat to the other. The level of disrespect shown by Jamie was completely uncalled for, not only had nobody mentioned to leave the place spotless, we assumed the maids would be in for a deep clean seeing as we were the ones who were being massively inconvenienced - again!!!

we were asked to find new accommodation because of how untidy the flat was, again the place WAS NOT filthy in the slightest.

The new flat we were moved into didn’t have a single place to put our clothes, the back door was broken and wouldn’t close (which is incredibly noisy due to being right next to a main road). We repeatedly asked for drawers, outside furniture (which we had in the original flat we had booked) and for the door to be fixed, none of which happened in the 3 weeks we were in the latest flat. We were forced to live out of black bags, and the air con was ineffective due to the back door constantly being open.

Personally, we feel we were never welcome in the loft and were always made to feel uncomfortable by management. It seems convenient that we were allowed to stay when rent was at its peak (€1500 a month - which was NOT worth it!!!!) and as soon as the rent gets lowered due to peak season being over, we are forced to leave!

The gym is barely equipped and the sauna/hot tub are very old with the latter not being on for the last 5+ years. False advertisement and something we wish we had known before moving in.

I would avoid this place, and the OH MY LOFT management in particular, unless you are Spanish don’t expect to be shown any sort of respect.

Thank god we are out of there now and can start enjoying what’s left of our summer... if you are coming here for a holiday or a long term stay there are SO many better options for the price.
